Gracie’s Kitchen began serving seven dinner guests in September of 2009 as a 501c3 entity under the Homeless Coalition of Nassau County Florida umbrella. With a fully equipped and certified kitchen, separate dining room, and storage area, Gracie’s Kitchen serves single mothers, families, senior citizens, military veterans, the homeless, and the working poor of the Yulee area.
In 2022, we served 46,176 meals. We serve a "drive up" meal and the folks that come to dinner are the working poor, senior citizens, single moms and dads with young children, veterans and the homeless.
We serve dinner nearly every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:30 until 6pm. Everyone who comes gets a meal, no questions asked.
Our nightly totals are usually upwards of 275 meals each night. We have around 20 different teams each month doing the cooking and serving.
Pat Janco and her husband Gary will also join us to talk about Gracie's Pet Ministry. Gracie's Pet Ministry feeds about 175 dogs and 160 cats each month.
